Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox lived on the student allowance, and relied on part-time employment to augment her income. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when as compared to the performance of the other students. She began considering different options. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. The band did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the singer of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva which was released in the year 1992. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted on October 31, 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P.
