Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984 is an actress and comedian known for her deadpan sense of humor. Plaza is April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After acting in sketches and improv the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she began her career in "The Jeannie Tate Show" and later appeared in "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", and other web series. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of financial advisor David Plaza and attorney Bernadette Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware. The parents of her mother and father are both Irish and English. Plaza graduated from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an Catholic girls' high school, and both of them in 2002. In high school She was director of the Wilmington Drama League and a member of its student government. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 as she was in her 2nd year of her university career. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia, and experienced briefly involuntary paralysis. She has since fully recovering.
